Our Featured Coffee - a Costa Rica Micro-Lot

This month’s featured coffee is a very special micro-lot bean from Santa Maria de Dota, located in the South Central Region of Costa Rica – in the highest, most remote sub area of the Tarrazu growing region. We started carrying various Costa Rican micro-lot beans about a year ago, and have yet to be disappointed with a single bag. You will find this specific micro-lot coffee to have red berry notes and taste bright, yet well balanced and smooth.

Mudhouse has teamed up with HOLA (Helping Others in Latin America) SERTOMA of Springfield to bring you this very special Fair Trade Organic coffee from the Granja “Juan Ana” Estate in Guatamala. A portion of the profits from the sale of these beans go directly to help fund Hospitalito Atitlan in Santiago, Guatemala.
