A little about me...

Mudhouse co-founder, co-owner
MudLounge co-founder, co-owner

Brian is one of the Mudhouse founding fathers, and is still very active in the business today. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri State University, Brian is the mastermind behind most things aesthetic at Mudhouse and MudLounge. If it involves design and color, (or clocks and lamps), Brian is all over it. He is also responsible for organizing and displaying the rotating local and regional artists the coffeehouse features. If you are interested in displaying art at Mudhouse, shoot Brian an email. He has a waiting list, but it never hurts to get the process started.

Brian is always on the eternal daily quest for pulling the perfect shot of espresso and then drinking three or five. He is generally responsible for the daily tweaks and nudges to the espresso machine that guarantees a fine poured shot. When he isn’t slinging MUD, Brian is highly involved in Pug Rescue, pottery, photography, bugging people, bicycling, working out, KC Chiefs football, playing pranks, hanging out with his large, extensive family, and when he has time, hiking through Great Britain. He also enjoys sipping on single malt scotch especially of the Islay variety, having a good beer or three, and riding his bike to the ends of nowhere.
